Fix this dish. Build real cooking skills.

Culinario is built for the moment a recipe stops being enough. Here’s how the app helps you make better decisions in a real kitchen.

What is Culinario?

Culinario is a pocket culinary school for home cooks. Short interactive lessons teach the decisions behind good food—salt, acid, fat, heat, timing, and technique—then guided kitchen challenges help you use them for real.

Is Culinario for complete beginners?

Yes. Start with Fundamentals and take one small step at a time. Every lesson builds on what came before, so you never need to pretend you already know the jargon or techniques.

Is it a recipe app?

Not exactly—and that is intentional. Recipe apps are great when you know what you want to make. Culinario teaches the transferable skills that help you adapt any recipe, understand what went wrong, and cook with less dependence on instructions.

What happens when my food tastes flat, heavy, or out of balance?

Use Fix This Dish during a Kitchen Challenge. Pick what you are noticing—flat, heavy, too salty, too sharp, too spicy, too thick, or too thin—and Culinario gives you one small, reversible adjustment to try before you taste again.

Can I use it while I am actually cooking?

Yes. Kitchen Challenges use big, readable steps, mise-en-place checks, multiple timers, and background-safe alerts. Timers can stay visible on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while you cook.

How much time do I need?

Most lessons take a few minutes. You can practice a single skill on a break, then save hands-on challenges for when you are ready to cook. The goal is a useful daily rhythm, not a long course session.

What is free, and what does Plus unlock?

Fundamentals, the first unit of every course, practice, and core progress features are free. Culinario Plus unlocks the full lesson library, unlimited hearts, and premium personalization. Pricing and any trial are always shown before you subscribe.

Do I need an account? Is my progress private?

No account is required. Your progress stays on your device and can optionally sync through your private iCloud. Anonymous diagnostics and Friends are opt-in. Weekly Leagues start automatically with a limited chef profile and can be disabled in Data & Privacy. Culinario has no ads and does not sell your personal cooking data.

Does Culinario replace food-safety or allergy guidance?

No. Culinario is educational. Always follow safe food-handling guidance, check ingredient labels, and account for your own allergies, dietary needs, and equipment instructions.

How do I get help or share feedback?

Visit Support or email ios.sweetapps@gmail.com. Feedback about confusing steps, kitchen misses, and features you wish existed is especially valuable.

Still curious? Culinario is for the cook who wants to understand the “why,” not just follow the next instruction.
